This week EJ celebrated paying off our third mortgage!! This mortgage was originated in 1999 to serve members in Phase 4 (Jasper and Clay County). We are proud to have paid it off 8 years earlier!!
Serving rural members is extremely costly due to the infrastructure it requires. It makes it challenging to pay off the infrastructure investment due to only serving on average, one house per mile. However, EJ is proud to have focused the last 31 years in serving the underserved - our rural communities.
