I’d like to connect to an existing line.

Awesome! We’d love to have you as a member. To apply for service, please fill out a residential users contract and return it with the connection fee.

I have purchased a property with an active meter.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to EJ Water. To transfer a location into your name, please fill out a user transfer contract and return it with the transfer fee.

I'm renting a home with an active meter.

As a courtesy to landlords, we will bill a renter directly. To have a bill sent in your name please fill out our renter’s contract and return it with the deposit and transfer fee.

I purchased a property that had an active meter but cancelled it.
When property owners decide to cancel a meter and then sell the property, we recognize that the new owners did not have a choice to keep the water service, therefore we created a reinstatement policy. The basis for the reinstatement policy is to make the Co-op whole again as if a meter was never cancelled in the first place. This includes paying a reinstatement fee, along with any minimums or overdue payments that were not paid while the meter was inactive. This amount will not exceed our current rate to connect to an existing line. If you are interested in activating a previously cancelled meter, please call our office at 217-925-5566 and we’d be happy to help you.
I own a property that had an active meter but cancelled the meter less than a year ago and now I would like a meter again.
When a property owner decides to cancel a meter and the same owner decides to reactivate the meter within a year, the property owner can pay a reinstatement fee and along with any minimums or overdue payments that were not paid while the meter was inactive. This amount will not exceed our current rate to connect to an existing line. If you are interested in activating a previously cancelled meter, please call our office at 217-925-5566 and we’d be happy to help you.

When a property owner decides to the cancel a meter and the same owner decides to reactivate the meter more than a year after it was cancelled, the owner must pay the current rate to connect to an existing line.
