This is a public notice regarding a recent EPA violation. This is a continuation from the public notice that was provided in December. Previous samples at EJ Water - SangChris (DS2) had high levels of Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs). The results from November samples raised the average from the past year above the maximum contaminant level. Our actions of cleaning lines and continued flushing should decrease the TTHMs. The most recent samples, collected in February, were well below the limit. Continued low results will put the water system back in compliance. Until then, a public notice will be scheduled every 90 days.
Please see the attached public notice by clicking the link below for more information.
URWC recently had it’s groundbreaking ceremony for the NEW water treatment facility that will help provide quality water at an affordable price to it’s residents/members!
Property values improved, they increased, because that water was there. Anytime we’ve had a problem we’ve worked them out.

Having EJ Water is the best thing that’s happened in our area! We’ve been very happy with the water and the contractors did an excellent job with the cleanup process!

I feel so much safer now than when I was using well water. I always worried about chemicals getting into the well.
