In order to become a member of E J Water Cooperative, Inc. and to receive water service in the future, you are asked to agree to pay to E J Water Cooperative, Inc. an advance connection fee (see Forms and Contracts).
You must agree to become a customer of the system as soon as service is available to the above property and to pay the charges required by the rules, rates and regulations (see documents to the right) of the governing board. You must further agree, as a condition of obtaining water service to grant to E J Water Cooperative, Inc. an easement across the above property as may be necessary for the construction, operation and maintenance of the water line.

Cost Share Program
There are approximately 290 unserved members who want/need drinking water. E J tries to serve these members by obtaining State grants through townships or serving seniority unserved members (members under the number 4,000 signed up prior to September of 1995) as construction funding allows. Each of these methods, although effect, are time consuming and based on available funding.
In order to better serve our members, we provide a third option: Member Paid Cost Share Extensions. Below is documentation on the process for a member paid extension and costs associated with them. If you have further questions please feel free to contact our office.
